EXPERT CONTRIBUTOR AGREEMENT

Expert Contributor Agreement — The Growth Collective
Effective Date: March 18, 2026
Welcome to The Growth Collective! We’re so glad to have you as a contributing expert. This Agreement sets out our mutual understanding so that both your rights and our community’s standards are clearly protected. Please read this document carefully. Your agreement is confirmed by submitting the Expert Contributor sign-up form and checking the acknowledgement box.
1. The Parties
This Agreement is between The Complete Business (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of The Growth Collective membership community hosted on Skool, and the Expert Contributor identified in the sign-up form (“Contributor,” “you,” or “your”).
2. Nature of the Relationship
This Agreement does not create an employment, partnership, agency, or joint venture relationship. You are participating as an independent contributor. There is no minimum engagement requirement — you are not obligated to post, present, or interact on any fixed schedule.
That said, we warmly encourage active participation. The more you engage with members — sharing insights, answering questions, and contributing your expertise — the more value you create for the community and for your own visibility and affiliate earnings.
3. Your Content — You Own It
Any content you create, share, or present within The Growth Collective — including but not limited to presentations, videos, resources, worksheets, written posts, and live session recordings (your “Contributor Content”) — remains your sole intellectual property.
By sharing Contributor Content within The Growth Collective, you grant The Complete Business a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:
- Display and make your Contributor Content available to current members of The Growth Collective for their personal, non-commercial use
- Reference or highlight your contribution for community promotional purposes (e.g., mentioning your expertise or session in community announcements)
We will not sell, license, repurpose, or distribute your Contributor Content outside of The Growth Collective without your express written consent.
4. Member Content Restrictions — How We Protect You
All members of The Growth Collective are bound by our Terms and Conditions and Community Rules, which explicitly prohibit:
- Copying, reproducing, screenshotting, recording, or distributing your Contributor Content to anyone outside the community
- Selling, reselling, or commercially exploiting your Contributor Content in any form
- Using your Contributor Content to create competing products or services
We take these restrictions seriously. Violations may result in immediate removal from the community. If you become aware of any misuse of your content, please notify us at hello@thecompletebusiness.com and we will address it promptly.
5. Community Rules — You Agree Too
As a Contributor, you agree to abide by The Growth Collective’s Community Rules, which apply to all participants including expert contributors:
- Respect & Kindness Always — engage with courtesy and without judgment toward all members
- Confidentiality is Non-Negotiable — do not share member stories, screenshots, or community content externally
- No Unsolicited Promotion — you may share your expertise organically, but direct promotion or solicitation of members outside the community is not permitted without our prior approval
- Support Over Solutions — offer support and reflections; avoid unsolicited advice unless requested
Failure to comply with the Community Rules may result in the suspension or termination of your contributor status at our sole discretion.
6. Privacy and Data
Your participation is also subject to our Privacy Policy () and our Terms and Conditions (), which govern how we collect and handle personal information in compliance with PIPEDA, CASL, CCPA/CPRA, and GDPR.
You agree to respect the privacy of all community members and not to collect, store, or use member personal information for any purpose outside of your participation in The Growth Collective.
7. Affiliate Payments — Through Skool Only
If you participate in any affiliate marketing or promotion with The Complete Business and The Growth Collective, all affiliate payments will be processed exclusively through the Skool platform.
By submitting the Expert Contributor sign-up form, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Affiliate compensation, if applicable, is managed and paid through Skool’s built-in affiliate payment system
- The Complete Business is not responsible for payment delays, disputes, or issues arising from Skool’s platform
- Any questions about affiliate payment amounts, timing, or status should first be directed to hello@thecompletebusiness.com, and may be escalated to Skool support if required
- Affiliate arrangements are subject to Skool’s Terms of Service ()
Unless a separate written affiliate agreement has been executed between the parties, no affiliate compensation is guaranteed or implied by this Agreement.
8. No Guarantee of Results
The Complete Business makes no guarantee regarding the number of members who will engage with your Contributor Content, the exposure or reach your participation will generate, or any affiliate earnings you may receive. Your outcomes will depend on a variety of factors including your level of engagement and the relevance of your content to our community.
9. Term and Termination
This Agreement begins on the date signed and continues until terminated by either party. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time with reasonable written notice to hello@thecompletebusiness.com.
Upon termination, your access to The Growth Collective as a contributor will be revoked. Content you have already shared within the community may remain accessible to members unless you request its removal in writing, which we will action in a reasonable timeframe.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through the courts of the Province of Ontario.
Contributor Acknowledgements
By submitting the Expert Contributor sign-up form and checking the acknowledgement box, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following:
- I understand I retain full ownership of any content I contribute to The Growth Collective.
- I understand members are prohibited from sharing, copying, or redistributing my content outside the community.
- I agree to abide by The Growth Collective’s Community Rules.
- I understand there is no minimum engagement or participation requirement.
- I understand that all affiliate payments, if applicable, are processed through the Skool platform only.
- I have read and agree to The Complete Business Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
Your name, email address, and submission timestamp will be recorded as evidence of your consent.
